Product description

The rim of this bowl is scalloped like a blooming flower. Eight regular lobes, each slightly curved inward, give the piece a silhouette that shifts depending on the viewing angle. Below, fine vertical ridges run along the entire outer wall, incised into the still-supple porcelain before firing. A sky-blue celadon glaze covers and simultaneously reveals them: light slips into these grooves, creating subtle shadows and bringing the surface to life. Inside, the blue is solid, deep, and slightly crackled in places. The ring foot, left as bare cream-colored clay, evokes the origin of the material. This bowl is made for soups, cold noodles in summer, or a rice dish. But it also possesses that rare quality of objects that make daily life more mindful. You pay closer attention to what you place in it. That alone is enough to ensure the meal gets off to a better start.

Care: hand-wash the porcelain to preserve the celadon glaze and its shine over time.
