Shipping policy

At Dogou, we do our best to prepare and ship your orders quickly, so you can enjoy your carefully selected Japanese objects without delay.

1 – Order preparation

Orders are generally prepared and shipped from Paris within 1 to 2 business days after payment is confirmed. Each item is carefully packed, especially fragile pieces such as ceramics.

You will receive an email as soon as your order ships, with a tracking number.

2 – Shipping methods and destinations

Dogou ships to metropolitan France and to all European Union countries. Shipping options (Colissimo or another carrier depending on the destination) are offered at checkout, based on the weight, size and your location.

3 – Delivery times

Indicative delivery times after shipping:

• Metropolitan France: usually 48 hours (Colissimo)
• Other European countries: 4 to 10 business days

These times may vary in case of high demand, bad weather or carrier delays. In any case, your order will be delivered no later than 30 days after it is confirmed, unless otherwise stated when you order. If this deadline is exceeded, you may cancel your order under the conditions set out in our Terms and Conditions of Sale.

4 – Shipping costs

Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight and destination of your order. They are clearly displayed before you confirm payment.

Free shipping on orders of €50 or more in metropolitan France.

5 – Damaged or lost parcel

If your parcel arrives damaged, we recommend noting your reservations with the delivery person or pickup point, then writing to us as soon as possible at leonard@dogou.fr with photos of the parcel and the item. We will find a solution together: a replacement if possible, or a refund.

If your parcel does not arrive within the stated time, contact us and we will open an investigation with the carrier.
